replaced slave cylinder 2 mths ago prob solved (not wanting to go in gear) clutch was releasing high but also slipping a little, is this due to lack of pressure from master. looked under dash fluid leaking from clutch master. noetheless i replaced it and now the car wont start. YIPPEEEEEEEE!

Wait, car won't start? That might be the clutch interlock switch messed up.

About the actual clutch, slipping would most likely be worn out clutch. Not the hydraulic system. It sounds like you may have had both worn-out clutch and a hydraulic problem.

i had another member tell me to chack the switch i should jump the switch with a paperclip in neutral is this safe? also ont the pedal itself is there a rubber or plastic stopper for the switch?in the diagram it is enlarged and says "PEDAL IN CONTACT WITH SWITCH" on my pedal there is a hole and the awitch goes directly through it?
