If you twisted off the stud (threaded end) extending through the valve cover, you will need to remove the valve cover and extract the stud. I believe the stud has a hex section at the base that will require an open end wrench or deep socket to reach. If there is not boss, you will need to use a vise-grip to grip and turn the stud.
A replacement will be available at Honda parts.
PS: get a torque wrench and learn to use it.
good luck

Actually I think on the '01 these are long bolts.....and they are different from the front of the vc (towards the rad) and the rear (firewall side).
Either way, you are going to need a new bolt from Honda or a junk yard. Then remove the VC and see what/how you are going to have to do to get the old one out.
And yes, these things are only like 9 Ft lbs....that is less than the specs on a spark plug. I do these with a 1/4 in ratchet and snug them with that....then get the torque wrench out....9 out of 10 the 1/4 inch did the job.....but I have done this a few time and can kind of guess at the feel of 9 ft lbs with the 1/4 drive.
