May 98 Service News?? You didn't save it when the service manager handed them out?
To refresh your memory....120 cc of pag oil
26 oz of R-134a [2oz less than R-12 original charge]
And to help you a little more here is a pressure/temp chart;

I have the downloaded manual but it does not state the total amount of oil that the system holds. It has no A/C spec. page.

When I rebuilt my 94 ex AC system, I drained compressor and evaporator, replaced receiver/drier,and blew out condensor. I added all the component volumes in the 94 Honda manual and got something like6-7 oz. I used 8 oz of BAV100 ester oil and AC system will freeze you at full blast. I usually add heat to avoid frostbite and fogged windows in morning. I think 4 oz is way too little IMO.

Thanks Honda Dude! The bulletin states 120cc's (4oz) of pag oil for a retrofit. Does this apply if I am going to flush the system clean?

My own method is to add a little extra oil and a little less freon; I'd rather give up a little freon space to keep the compressor well lubed and lose a couple degrees of temp, for the sake of compressor life.
