If you downloaded that 94 shop manual (copy and paste the link below into your browser for the download) , Page 21-20 shows how to remove the heater unit. It refers you to page 20-76 starts the procedure for removing the dash.

It looks pretty detailed to me, but I never had to do this. Someone on here did this (maybe Texashonda?) and mentioned it is a major PIA.

I have everything removed until the actual dash itself.

1- Remove Mid console (2 screws on side of seats and 2 under cover inside of the compartment)

2- Remove Driver kick panel (screws are obvious on this one)

3- Remove Glove box (Start with screw near the door with a black plastic rod on it, remove the 2 screws underneath, and then pull the tab on the left inside the glovebox)

4- Remove Information Console (Start with pulling the ebrake, remove the 2 screws that were unveiled after removing the mid console at the shifter, put your key inside the shift unlock and pull it all the way down, remove the screws on the sides, remove your radio, and radio bracket.......)

5- Remove Spedometer cluster with the top black plastic trim (2 screws above steering wheel and 2 underneath ventilation control accessible after removing the radio)

This is where I am at now. Time to disconnect the negative battery terminal and unplug the YELLOW CONNECTORS BY PULLING BACK for airbags AFTER 5 MIN OF DISCONNECTING THE BATTERY (2 screws under steering wheel for driver and behind glove box for passenger)

Now I'm having trouble finding the bolts I need to take off next.
