TCS Indicator on 2003 Accord
Okay, so this is my first help question since I joined. I have a 2003 Accord EX V6 coupe. Intermittently (once every 3-4 months), the traction control system light will come on. Pressing the TCS switch on the dash does nothing. However, if I stop, turn the car off, and then turn the car back on, the light goes away.
When the light is on, everything else seems normal. Acceleration and power are good, it rides well, and there doesn't seem to be anything else going on out of the ordinary. I'm pretty aggressive with maintenance, so I'll have my mechanic check it out, but I was wondering if anyone else had any ideas. I searched through the forums, and while there did seem to be some other issues with the TCS on this model Accord, no one else seemed to post the exact same set of symptoms, so I thought I'd throw a post up and see if anyone else can shed some light on this issue. Thanks in advance!

My bets would be on a failing, loose, or very dirty wheel speed sensor. The traction control system must have accurate and complete wheel speed information or it fails and the sensors can have intermittent problems that set off the warning light; I had exactly the same thing on my Acura CL/S.
