Missing DTC data
I plugged my OBD II diagnostic meter into my 2002 1.8 sport to try and reset my CEL after having sorted the problem.. Is it possible to erase all the diagnostic data that was programmed into the car originally..? The car won't start now..

The problem I sorted was to change the vtec solenoid., as that uses pressure could the fact that I changed it therefore de-pressurising it be the reason the car won't start until the pressure is back to normal..? I presume turning over the engine will increase the pressure..?
Or am I miles out an have wrecked my car..

Vtec system is unlikely the cause of no-start.
Suggest listening carefully when keyswitch is turned to On for fuel pump in fuel tank to run for 2-3 secs and go off.
If you don't hear the fuel pump, the main fuel relay or fuel pump are likely faults.
If you hear fuel pump when no-start condition is present, the ignition fault (ignition switch, ignitor, or coil).

good luck
