So I have 1993 accord. With in the last year i have put new plugs and wires, rotor and cap. What is going on is I will be driving ( it doesn't matter if its cold or warm) and I will lose power. If you floor it during this you have no power and it smells like it is burning rich. After a minute or two it is back to normal.

My other question is with the shift cable. I have read about how cars get stuck in park, but i'm not able to put it in park. It shifts fine between everything else. I've tried to oil the cable from the inside and looked no luck. Should i be able to manually be able to push the tran into park were the wire hooks to it?

any help would be great
