Front Impact Sensors 2004 Accord LX
I need to replace my front impact sensors. The part number on the ones I took off are 77930-SDA-L913-M1. I cannot find that exact part number anywhere, even the Honda website. The Honda website cam up with part number 77930-SDA-A92. Does anyone know if these part numbers are interchangeable? Will the part number that Honda recommended work?
Any help is appreciated. This is a car I bought for my 16 year old, so safety is of great importance. Thanks!

Thanks for the reply. Yes, we had to replace a seatbelt. We pulled the SRS unit and are going to have the codes cleared. Any thoughts on the sensors?

1. See my post #2 regarding the sensor part number.
2. There is no DIY resetting of the SRS unit after deployment. The DTC's are suppose to be permanent after a collision and the SRS light stays on. It is software implemented. Honda probably doesn't want the liability of it not working in case of another collision. The SRS unit suppose to be replaced after airbag deployment.
Yes, I am aware there are third party vendors out there that will reset the SRS unit.
