Default Front wheel stud replacement

I've gotten the caliper and the bracket off, i just dont know where to go from there, do i need to completely remove the hub to get them out? Or maybe just the rotor? Its on my 99 accord lx, if anyone could offer some advice please do asap, without a car atm, and i need to figure this out. Thanks a lot.

I think you have to get the hub pulled, which usually destroys the wheel bearing.

First take off the brake rotor. Then spin the hub around, looking for any position where there's enough room behind there, so the stud can be pushed out. Really, a broken stud will be easier to push out because it isn't so long.

Some years there's a cut-out or a recess in the steering knuckle, to allow room for a new wheel stud to be installed without removing the hub. Unfortunately, I don't think that's 1999...

Here's a DIY method posted several days ago for the 6th gen Accord. Please read the disclaimer.

Got the rotor off, knocked out the studs, all without removing the hub, had someone take the new studs to grind them tonight and putting them in tomorrow, shows what auto shops know, well what they want you to know at least, one place wanted 40 and the other i checked wanted 60 to remove them and put the new ones in, thanks for the help redbull!

Glad to hear it worked out. You had great timing, that DIY was only created and posted several days ago.
