Hello,
i need help gettin my door panel off. 1990 honda accord 4 door. I have all screws off. The bottom half is off. The only thing holding the door on is the handle and lock piece. I have the one screw off, there is something inside the door that is holding it on. What is it and how do i get it off. Thanks so much

on the door handle there a clip kinda thing that attaches to the aluminum piece that opens ur door... u need to unclip that to take the handle off....
is it manual or auto?

 

First of all, if you haven't done this. You need to push the entire lock unit forward to unclip from the door. Once thats accomplished there is a plastic clip that connects the rod that operates the door lock to the handle. you need to unclip that but be carefull not to break it. Thas sometimes happen when they get old. Good luck

 

overlord is right , the clip will break if your not carefull-alittle light oil an a small screw driver ,lightly push clip off off rod
