Fuel gauge is stuck on F?
I drove my car until the tank was nearly on E, it was about a millimeter or two away from E. Then I went to the gas station put the Chevron Techron in the tank and filled up with gas. Too much gas. So much gas that it overflowed from the tank a tiny bit.
Dumb mistake.
Now my gauge is reading F and I've done at least twelve miles of driving. There are a few conclusions I could come up with:
1) It's still full or the meter is out of range because it's so full. Since this car gets around 22mpg, the 12 miles I've driven were not enough to lower the gauge level.
2) The fuel gauge is stuck because the sensor in the tank was damaged or became stuck. Maybe the Techron did this?
3) The Techron works so well I'm getting more mpg than usual.
4) The Techron worked so well it gave me infinity mpg.
Is there some way I can reset this thing? I'm actually hoping the Techron worked well. I mean it feels like it's idling better and it feels better when I drive too.
Dumb mistake.
