Default Ignition Issues

I have a 90 honda accord in which i recently had to replace the distributor. since the replacement i've been having issues keeping the car running. now the only way it will stay running is if i hold the key in the start position while driving. any ideas as to what the source of this problem could be?

Sounds like a flaky ignition switch to me. Thats not exactly a rare problem with Hondas.

Yup, I think Jim's got this one nailed! You most likely only need to replace the electrical portion. It sounds like the lock cylinder is fine ...... in case you didn't know that you can replace only that half.
