I finished pulling a blown motor from my 1998 Accord, and installing a used motor. Upon completion, I started the car and immediately got a check engine light which I diagnosed as both O2 sensors. I cleared the codes, and restarted, but keep getting P0141 Rear O2 sensor. I ignored the light and went for a drive.

Almost immediately, the D4 light on the dash started flashing, and I was unable to shift from 2nd to 3rd gear. The car was running and driving fine beforehand.

What could be the problem???

D4 flashing = trans control unit detected a problem. Get code read at autozone and post on here.

 

I don't want to drive the car if I don't absolutely have to, so reading the code might be tough. Is there a way to jumper wires and have it flash the code? I have an Actron OBD2 scanner, but it only seems to pick up on engine codes, not ABS or Tranny codes.
