Default Help with PO170 & PO171

New to the site. I have a 97 Accord with the 2.2L in it. I am getting 2 codes. PO170 & PO171. One is system is too lean bank 1, the other is fuel system malfunction or something like that. I have replaced the O2 sensor, fuel filter, pcv value, tune up, etc. but keep getting the same codes. Does anyone have any idea of where to start. I am guessing, it might have a vacuum leak, cause to much air flow. I was hoping someone could me a place to start, if they have had this problem..

now you have more than one o2 sensor. maybe you replaced the wrong one. and the fuel system malfunction is happening because of the first code, so you can disregard that one. you probably replaced the wrong o2, or maybe you didnt use a honda one. get back to us on it. which o2 did you replace where is it located?

PO171 is lean in bank one. I replaced the O2 in the manifold, which is bank 1 correct? I used a Honda 02 sensor. I am thinking vaccum leak. Any other ideas?

could easily be a gasket leak then. if any air is allowed to get in the exhaust then the cel will light up. try to tighten everything up first. i think i might need some help from someone else to figure out how many o2's that you have. im thinking that there are only 2 on in the manifold and one after the cat, but im not sure about it.

It has 1 02 in the manifold, and 1 after the car. I will check gasket leaks and vaccum lines this weekend. Thanks for the input. Any other ideas??

Ok, I have checked for exhaust leaks, vaccum leaks, ran injector cleaner through it, and checked the MAP sensor. Everything checks out ok. Any other ideas. The only thing I can think of is a intake leak. I can reset the PCM and after about 3-4 days, I receive the same cods. This is work car, but gas mileage went from 27-29 to 23-24, so something is making it use more fuel. Any other thoughts??
