Question Honda Coupe 2006 Manual Stalling Low Gear

Hello . .I was driving today and suddenly my check engine light turned on and the car began to stall in first and second gear. When I shift up it seems to drive normally, but in the low gears it stalls and if I try to accelerate I get nearly no response . . .would appreciate any experts advice . . Thank You . . (sorry, I initially posted this in the wrong group).

With the exception of California, places like Autozone or O'reilly's in other states will read the trouble code(s) for free.

Get it read and post the trouble code number(s).

Also, let use know if the car is 4 or 6 cylinders.

1. Is the Check Engine Light blinking or steady on?

2. When was the last time the car had some maintenance? What was done?

3. Can you take a few photo of the engine compartment and post them?

Redbull - the check engine light is steady, it's not blinking. I had the car maintained three weeks ago. I changed oil and flushed the break fluid.

I can for sure try to post some pics later. It's too dark now to see.

If the Check Engine Light was blinking, then you do not want to drive it.

Unless we can see something obvious from any photos, getting the trouble code(s) would help to try to figure out possible causes.
