is there power at the green/red ?? the way you are describing it , sounds like you do have a bad turn signal switch

The Grn/Wht wire is the power input to the flasher relay. When you jumped Grn/Wht to the Grn/Blu or Grn/Yel, you bypassed the flasher relay. Jumper the Grn/Red wire (relay output) to Grn/Blue or Grn/Yel and the flasher will work w/ the turn light.

If this works, the turn signal switch is the problem.

that is why i asked him to chk for power at the green./red wire .. if there is no power but there is power at green/white , it has a bad relay ,,at least ,,
If it has power at green/red ( after the realy ,also power input to the turn signal switch) ,than relay is good ,,, than it is a bad turn signal switch .

 

Well what a freaken long day of cleaning up on this car. So I took my multimeter and placed it across the grn/red wire on the turn signal and I get 12V. If that answers your question desert honda. Im really starting to think its the switch problem because im getting the 12V into the switch according to the multimeter. Is this what you were talking about?

 

yeah, that was exactly what he was talking about. since you jumped power to each individual terminal from the switch in the previous post, you confirmed the switch is bad.

Now this is going to sound weird. I decided to put back the center console (plastic trim around the radio, ac unit, clock) and guess what? My turn signals starting working again! I didn't have to order a new switch or nothing. But now my clock doesnt light up. Oh well I can deal with that. Its a little annoying knowing it wont light up but turn signals are more important. Thanks for the help guys.[8D]
