2006 honda accord

Can someone please tell me about how long it should take a mechanic to replace a solenoid on a 2006 VTEC 4 cyl automatic accord??? I think this guy is trying to f#*K me no vaseline?? any help is much appreciated.

What solenoid is getting replaced? What is wrong with your car exactly?
