Default injector installation

when i reattach the fuel rail with injectors, my injectors are still loose.....mainly my 1st and 4th injector. the bolts have been tightened all the way and i'm a little unsure why i can still wiggle them.

NEW O-rings on the injectors?

They get hardened with age & heat, so they don't seal any more after you take it apart & put back together.

yea new o rings, but they seem to be able to slide up and down in and out of the fuel rail, almost as if the fuel rail didnt tighten up to the block as far as it should have. i think i have it fixed tho, ive been able to drive my car again since yesterday

ok through all of this, injectors helped ALOT. but however, i have gotten to be able to do a compression check and my 1st cylinders sittin at about 20, dead. and my 2nd is at about 140, too high. so i just thought id keep u up to date on my issue and let yall know thats my problem. im pulling my head off and getting a new one instead of sending it off for headwork. joy. lol

Do a wet compression test do decide whether it's rings vs valves?
