Default Power window plz help (raining)

Hi everyone.

Well basically last night my 95 accords driver side window stopped working. It is now stuck at being 100% open. I have a few questions,

1 I hear that its possible there is a looose wire or dirt in the central controle pannel or something like that. Does anyone know where this is? I read something that its possible to fix it without opening the door.

2. If this does not work, should i try to fix it myself or go to a garadge?

How much would it cost to repair a power window on average?

Is it worth trying myself?

do it yourself... I just did my 94 and if you have questions I'll walk you through it... Also Here's a link to a how to guide that I wrote. It's actually fairly easy... does it make noise or anything when you flip the switch? it's always possible that you just have a faulty switch...

I haven't heard about how to do this; however, i think it's pretty unlikely that the switch is the problem. I've had two regulators go out on my '94 accord, and from what I've heard, this is a pretty common problem for Accords of this generation.

the door is amazingly easy to remove.... it'll take you all of about 15 minutes to take off... seriously... just pop the door panel off and make sure everything is still attached (all the wires) then if it's all good and the switch seems fine I'd get a new motor/regulator... I ordered mine from www.1aauto.com and it came with a lifetime warranty shipped 2-3 day priority mail for like $80.00 new... great people to work with too...

actually there are two bolts that connect the regulator to the window that you remove when they line up with the holes in the door (about 1/4 of the way up) and then 4 bolts to remove the track and 3 bolts to remove the motor and regulator all the bolts are 10 or 12 mm
