Synthetic is great stuff although there are complaints about every brand. Royal Purple can leave graphite deposits. I have never heard anything bad about Penzoil Platinum though.

My favorite is Amsoil. IMO it's more important to clean with a bottle of Marvel Mystery Oil every 2 or 3 oil changes, actually 1000 miles before the oil change, than the kind of oil that you use. Also, engine flush once a year.

^^ once a year on the flush, no more. It's good for the car, but bad for rubber.

Once a year won't hurt anything, after all, the stuff is made for engine use.

I've thought about Marvel before, but if I remember correct, L2R's H22a4 went to the pooper after he used it. That scared me off.

I agree on the Amsoil>RP
