replaced Ignition switch on Honda Accord and now no power
99 Honda Accord had a problem with the electrical side of the ignition switch. I disconnected the positive side of the battery while installing the new electrical side of the ignition switch, and connected the battery, now the lights on the dash don't work and the car won't turn over. Horn works, head lights and interior lights work. And key inserted beeps. No dash lights, car won't turn over, no radio, no blinking lights on after market alarm. left/right blinker doesn't work.

The fuses for the dash, turn signals, and radio only receive power when the ignition is ON or START.
Double check that the ignition switch harness 6-P connector is securely attached to the driver's under-dash fuse/relay box. If that is okay, then double check the installation of the electrical switch.
If the switch installation seems okay, then check the No. 42 (50A) large fuse in the under-hood fuse/relay box. This fuse feeds power to the wire going to the ignition switch.
