Default Seat/seat belt question

Hi there....

My mother is purchasing a 2009 Honda Accord Coupe. Being that she is on the short side, 4' 10"... I was wondering, is there something or has someone come up with a way to make the seat belt more accessible? For the most part with her having to have the seat way forward in the car, the seat belt is just about in the back seat for her and not easy to grab.

Is there a product or something that someone has thought up to solve this inconvenience? Any help would be greatly appreciated and thanks in advance.

Mike

It might be possible to reposition the seabelt holder forward, but this would compromise restraint for taller persons. Get a body shop to do this.

Another possibility would be to add extension pedals to brake and accelerator to allow operation from a more rearward position. I think these products exist, but have no experience w/ them.

good luck
