Serpentine / alternator belt how do I tighten the belt?
I had the serpentine belt replaced by a mechanic he said the belt tensioner was missing but Ives tried to research it and call the dealership and the dealership said they there isn't a belt tensioner for my car. How do I tighten the serpentine / alternator belt ?? People that have dealt with this before or know exactly what I'm talking about please comment show me a image or something? If you have no clue please don't waste my time with your opinion. I need facts from people that have done it themselves. I have a 1993 honda accord 10th anniversary.

There is no serpentine belt, but an adjustable alternator position assembly.
You must loosen alternator through bolt at engine mount, loosen alternator lock nut on through bolt underneath alternator, and then use adjustment mechanism visible at front end of alternator to tighten the belt to adequate tension, usually 1/2" deflection w/ 20 lbs force (estimated).
If you have no clue what to do, it's usually better to be polite for best results and general order on the forum.
good luck
