Tach Stuck Behind Peg

Tach Stuck Behind Peg
The Tach on my 1996 Accord EX is stuck behind the peg. It is still working it is just stuck behind the peg when it tries to move up the RPM's. I read that there is a reset for other vehicles by holding the odometer reset and turing the car on . This didn't work. Is there a reset for Accords? Or am I going to have to take off the glass to get to the needle to move it passed the peg?
Thanks

How did the needle get stuck behind the peg?
This is for a 96 accord, right? Your signature shows a 2000 accord.
If it is for a 96, go to the common diy thread on top of the gen tech help section. There is a link for online shop manuals. The honda-tech link in there has a 94 shop manual you can download.
I've removed the cluster before using that manual. It isn't terribly difficult, but a bit of work. The center console, the radio and radio bezel, the HVAC controls have to be removed. Then you can pull the cluster out. The manual will show you were all the bolts are located.

Yeah its on the 96 Accord. I just bought it and forgot to change my sig. I'm not sure how it got like that. When I was taking the test drive I thought that the tach was broke. After getting it home I realized that it was just that it was stuck.
Can I just leave it the way it is? Is it worth going through all the trouble just to get the needle unstuck?
