Default slight dead spot in throttle exceleration from dead stop

Hello, I have been battling a few quirks in my quirky 1987 Honda Accord LX and have managed to get to the bottom of them, through analyzing the information that has been adivised through this sight! However I have another that I have to figure out! I had an idling problem the proved to be a gummed up Carb. Now it is running beautiful with the exception of a slight dead spot when accelerating from a stop while in gear. It will be greatly appreciated if anyone can point me in the right direction? Accelerator pump? float level?mixture screw? I really don't know wher to go with this one.
Thank You
