Default Steering Pressure Hose Inquiry

i recently was told that I need to get a power steering pressure hose for my 1995 Accord. After going to several auto parts stores I was informed that this item can only be purchased from Honda directly. I looked online and saw 2 seperate manufacturers that make and sell this item. They are OES Genuine and Edelmann. the price is nearly double for the OES, Are they the same item ? or do each one serve a seperate task. Also, is there a way of just purchaseing the hose ? or would you have to get the entire part with end fittings and all

did you try CHECKER or AUTO ZONE ??? hose comes complete with fittings...
what you can do is to remove the hose and take it to an auto air conditioner shop in your area they might replace just the hose and re crimp the original fittings..

I have done it that way a few time with great success..

I looked at the web site for Gates, a pretty good supplier in my opinion, and they list a number for a 95 EX 4 cyl (wasn't sure of model/engine so I guessed) #366480. I know a few aftermarket companies that carry Gates belts and hoses so it shouldn't be that hard to get a quote from one of them as well.
