Default Fog light question

Hey Gang, I'm new to the Accord family.....just added a 2012 4cyl lx-s coupe to my fleet for commuting the 20 miles each way to work. I decided to go bare bones to keep costs low and figured I'd add the few little things I wanted. One of those things is fog lights. Apparently, the wiring harness for a 2012 lx-s doesn't support the fog light kit honds makes for the car. Only works with the EX-L and V6. Anyone else here have any solutions for good functioning and looking fog lights to replace the open gaps in the lower bumper?

I would say if you have any friends with that same model with fog lights installed, maybe that person could let you look at how things are set up.

But... that is a darn nice car! Congrats!

Go to a site like handa-accessories.com. You can download the installation instructions for the ex-l. At the end, they usually have a circuit diagram. You will have to see what wires you would need to add to make it work. You might also need to get a shop manual for your car to see where the wires are at in the electrical connectors. I got mine from automanualsource.com for $21.99 as a pdf and it is worth every penny.

I find it kind of stupid that Honda wouldn't have a wire harness available for your car, yet it has the bumper that can house the fog lights.

Ya, pretty lame, I agree but I guess there is a completely separate stick for those models and you actually have to replace the stick on the column to do it. The LX-S doesn't have that stick. I'm gonna start looking at aftermarket.
