Temperature gauge help 2002 honda accord
Ok guys, i've recently had some problems with my gauges due to personal error. I bought a new instrument cluster and EUREKA everything started working again except my temp gauge. (pretty important) I've read a couple of places that i need to see it is the sensor but i cannot find where this is located supposedly its a gray plug with a black and green wire but any specific instructions would help. After I test the sensor, my uncle (who works on circuit boards and computers in helicopters) is going to help me test resistance and such of the gauge. Anyone else have any ideas what this is. Im leaving for college at the end of this week so i need to figure this out
thanks in advance

I just looked at parts drawings & the 2002 no longer has the 1-wire temperature sender. I suspect that the ECU uses information from it's 2-wire temperature sensor and drives the gauge in the cluster.
I didn't realize Honda did that before the 7th-gen cars.
Anyway, if that sensor was bad, you should be showing a check-engine lamp.
