I am pulling a f23a4 ulev vtec TOMORROW, for a 99 accord that I bought for my mom with a non-vtec f23a5, that needs to be rebuilt. It was left in the rain for a couple months and it's cheaper just to get a different engine from the junk yard.

I really need a list of all the parts I need to pull. I'm surfing similar threads right now. Any help is greatly appreciated!

 

My parts list so far is:
Money
Engine
ECU
Intake/exhaust manifolds. (or can I use my a5 manis?)
Wiring harness(or can I use my old one?)
Map(will I need that?)
Vacuum control box
Distributor/Ig coil
Possibly engine mounts(?)
Possible Radiator.
Oxygen sensors.

Will I need the fuel pump?

 

I used to have a 98 & I had the shop manual. I recall the ULEV car had a lot of differences in the wiring harness. The pin-outs for the ECU were very different. You'll want a Helm shop manual to get all the details about re-wiring.

 

Accords before 2003 did not have MAF sensors.
