Default VSS Replacement problems

So the same 96 accord that gave me problems with the starter now needs to have the speed sensor replaced. I managed to get the part online for cheap, but removing the old one is becoming somewhat of an issue. I was able to remove the first bolt by sticking a bunch of socket extensions together, but the second one, closer to the center of the engine bay, seems to be impossible to reach.

Is there some trick I'm missing? It seems that most of the upper components will have to come out to be able to reach this stupid bolt. My speedometer and odometer are junk without this thing, and I can't use cruise control until it's swapped out. Anyone else have any experience with this?

Yes, piece of cake. Remove the intake tube and I believe it's two 10 mm bolts to remove the VSS. You will need a swivel and some extensions.

Yep, the intake tube should be removed and swivel helps greatly. If the intake tube is not removed, it makes life more difficult to get to the VSS.
