Tailgate does not open with remote, button will close it now new car battery has been fitted. Any ideas, local Honda garage will fix for £600!!

We don't get the touring model (station wagon here in USA) so we never had any motorized tailgates.

We've gotten a handful of new members lately from UK, so I hope one of them chimes in.
