Default Can use some advise. New to honda

Howdy. I recently decided to put a little bit of fun into my daily driver 2010 accord ex. I understand that this is no race car and I am not expecting to turn it into one, but instead of trading in on a v6 accord I would like to do some upgrades to my current car. I slapped a K&N filter in and am looking for some advice on simple upgrades to increase the enjoyment of my daily commute i.e. exhaust or chips. I am in TX and have emissions testing.

Exhaust would gain some, but would also make the car louder, not sure if that's something you'd want. Chips not going to do anything for you. Not going to make a ton of power without some more in depth and costly modifications like a head swap or turbo set up.

I am not opposed to a louder exhaust just don't want "wake the neighbors" loud. Any suggestions?

Apexi ws2 has always been a favorite with a nice balance of performance and sound.
