Default Convince me

I currently drive a 2014 Acadia Denali and have driven similar SUVs since 1998. However this school year my son is going to a school for dysgraphia and I will be adding 80 miles every school day to my drive and that is with carpooling.

The 21 mpg in the Acadia doesn't make that sound great. We are looking at a 2016 EX-L (with or without sensing). I am seeing some great deals on them. My Acadia is paid off so we are only doing it if it is a clean swap and no money out of pocket.

I am just nervous about going to a car. What is the average MPG that you are seeing? As of now it looks like I will be saving $80-100 a month in gas. I just know my husband will make me drive it for 8-10 years

Hello, Cajun... welcome to the forum

As you know, MPG can vary by how the particular vehicle is driven. I have a 2016 EX-L V6 and it averages 20 mpg city and 30 mpg on the open road. I'll normally drive 80+ mph on the Interstate and both city & road are with AC... overall, I'm very please with my Accord

I can't say much about the mpg of that car specifically, but I have owned many different cars and my Hondas have been by far the most reliable. I didn't think my 95 Accord could be beat in reliability but my 08 Acura MDX sure is giving it a run for its money.

I did purchase a car. Got a 2016 EX-L Accord in silver. Had it a week and LOVE it. Not as much of an adjustment from the SUV as I thought.

The mpg is AWESOME!!!! I just wish it wasn't displayed so many times in the car

Your mpg will vary, but mostly highway I beat my highways mpgs all the time.

Go to Youtube and watch the small overlap crash test.

Two years old next month and 58,000 miles and no unscheduled maintenance!
