Howdy. I've looked at Hondas for a long time, and I finally got one.
It's a 91 Accord EX with about 180k. I needed a car with decent gas mileage, and this one landed in my price range. I've fixed some problems, others are on the to do list, and others will be asked about in the tech section.
I bought the car from a guy in Cincinnati who seemed honest, since he pointed out 4 problems that needed attention, and promised to fix all 4 before selling. 3 actually were fixed, but the fourth was an exhaust leak, and it turned out that he had welded straight pipe instead of replacing the cat. converter. So, that wasn't very honest. Now I can't get ahold of him. Hope that doesn't come back to bite me...
So, I've replaced some bulbs, inside and out, found bolts for the rear fold-down seat, which had none, and put in a muffler and cat. converter. I hope to own this car for a long time, and will be looking to make it a little more fun in the future.
Have a good day, and happy posting.
