I am currently in the market for a turbo kit for my 07 accord. I inherited the vehicle, but find it is not fast enough for me.

 

Welcome to the forum. I take it that you have the k24A8 same engine as me. There are no "kits" that i know of for this car. There are plenty of options though. I am going to go with the rotrex supercharger. c30-94 It will be a rather painless install.

 

hey thanks for the reply! yeah i wasnt having a lot of luck finding the ready made kits like you can for certain compacts. its a beautiful car, and quite sporty. a true shame greddy or someone hasnt done a proper treatment yet. but i have at least found the sort of generic "universal" turbo kits, like the tsi ball bearing turbo kit on turbokits . com

Hey guys, just wanted to reopen this Turbo thread for the fact I also have a 07 Accord (Sedan) and I agree, there isn't many options for a turbo kit. But my recent research suggests a supercharger wouldn't really give me as much boost cuz as many of you know you need hp to make hp. Assuming we're talking about the 2.4L. Would universal turbo kits work just as good? What am I loosing out on if the kit isn't directly designed for my vehicle? Thanks!

What kind of transmission do you have on your Accord? If it is a manual gearbox a turbo application should work well; if it an automatic, best leave the engine alone.
