Default I bought a $200 dollar clunker.

I new to this forum so lets see I'm 15 I just bought a 1987 Honda Accord LXi 2-door. for $200 bucks from my neighbor. I mean I'm really excited I just got my first car and its a Honda so I'm really happy, but it has been sitting in there garage for about 5 or 6 years not being ran so it needs some major work done to it plus it has been in a accident too before shebought aPontiac Gran Prix and put the Honda in the garage she hit a garde rail with it and messed up the left front side fender but it does not effect the driving of the car. I know that me and my dad will be redoing the whole entire floor, it is completely rusted out and it is a big safty hazard. I wanna make this beauty road legal. But back to my big question for every Accord lover out there, I found it hard to find some of the parts I am going to need like there is a lot of little stuff missing on it just from old age and the fact that her kids beat the crap out of the back seat area, I found a 1986 Accord LXi 4-door for like $100 bucks that the body and interior and some of the other parts like the muffler and some of the engine parts are in really good condition its tranny and some thing in the engine have broke and so it does not run but a lot of parts on it are things I need. Do you think I should buy it to use for spare parts because the Accord I bought runs but it needs work on the body. I'll try to get around to taking pics of my baby.

I think it would be easier to put the motor into the one with the nice body than to fix the body on the one you have.

I would highly recommend buying a parts care when you have a car that old.

and yes it can be hard to find parts for a car that old

Buy a used repair manual. It's like ten bucks and tells you how to do everything.

Using a donor car for parts is a great idea to fix body damage or anything else for that matter.
