Default Carbon Fiber Hood for 2003 Accord 4Dr

Alright guys i need some feedback, I want to buy a carbon fiber hood for my accord not to sure what to do. I recently painted my roof black and my car is satin silver so I would assume to get the OEM black carbon fiber hood to match the roof but since searching online I noticed a silver carbon fiber hood that is different and you dont really see everyday. I plan on putting my car in acouple of carshows this summer. So its pretty much a toss up between black or silver carbon fiber.

(My Accord before the roof painted black)

Black Carbon fiber oem hood would look best.Since you have the roof painted black?

What is your goal, VIP status, regular show car, what?

Black roof = black CF hood

/thread

EDIT: Black CF can always be painted back to match the car. Look into a black CF trunk to complete the look?

this is my everyday car which only gets driven on the weekends since i take public transportation to work M-F. i'm not trying to make a show car since i have a 2yr that spills his juice everywhere on my interior so i haven't even started that project. just looking to be different and stand out of the crowd. i have yet to see any hooked-up cars with a different color hood besides air-brushed and a pink carbon fiber on a pink integra. thats what i see in the silver but i dont want to waste $$$ on a hood and not be happy.

No need to carbon fiber or paint your hood to stand out. A clean nicely done and put together car will grab my attention, over a carbon fibered, body kit car show car, any day.

Well with the black hood, the black hood would probably look better. However that silver carbon fiber hood is deff. tighter.

Do you have any pics of your car WITH the black hood? It'd be kinda interesting to see. I could also probably photoshop your car with both hoods to show you what it'd look like....?

Default Carbon Fiber Hood for 2003 Accord 4Dr

I like the hood vents. I think it looks better without the hood pins, if they arent 100 necessary. Also the brilliant black just makes it look like a mismatched hood. If it was still the carbon fiber mesh I think it would look better unpainted, but I may have had it painted to match.

I like the S4 grille better than the badgeless one though. Still very unique mod, and I bet it will turn some heads.
