that or you have the infamous break issue with accords...

but then again, you didn't post your year..

take the rotors to oreilly and get them machined/turned; should cost 10/rotor + tax.

What infamous brake issue? Never once heard of anyone having "issues" with their brakes.

Well a lot of manufacturers have problems with using cheap-o brakes in their systems, and tend to heat up quickly, leaving deposits on the rotors.

Many Honda and Acura owners have benefitted from switching from OEM brakes to aftermarket ceramic brakes, and have found that it will clean the rotors themselves since they are harder.

I've read about this on many honda forums, and people with acura's at work have told me the same thing with their cars... just thought it was pretty well known.

Then again, it could just be rumour.. I had this problem for sure, went and machined, and about 2 mo later it came back.. cahnged pads, and I'm good without new machining.

but they don't fix the shaking issue!!!!! For pads, I recommend EBC Redstuff for spirited driving or yellow for mature driving. Or Hawk HPS ... I use them .... I've heard that HP's are better for spirited driving also, but I can't recommend what I don't have experiance with. Also, Raysbestos makes great ceramic pads too.

For rotors, I recommend Brembo blanks. At $40 each, how can you go wrong?!? I have their sport drilled setup.

Patrick: As mentioned, there's about an 85-90% chance that your rotors are shot. If resurfacing is possible and cheaper than the Brembos, that is an option, but I'd go with the new, better rotors.
