1994 accord vti-s
has anyone ever experienced any problems with putting larger wheels on a 94 accord, or one about the same make. i checked under my wheel arches yesterday to suss out how big wheels would fit and noticed that there is a bar (probably something to do with suspension, idont really know) under each arch that is no more than an inch away from the wheels.
any help would be appreciated
cheers

Haven't gone out to check clearance, but, I have 17x7's with 205 40's on them and i've seen people with 215 40 17's. AND my car is lowered close to 3" (stupid springs) I've got no rubbing or problems from extreme left to extreme right. 18's will fit too, I'd stay at no more than 7.5" wide though.

It's the rolling diameter you want to keep the same as the stock size, but you can put tires up 8in wide and wheels up to 19in.
what, specifically, are you trying to do? Just keep your wheels, but get bigger tires? Can I ask why?

Finch13, just wondering what size wheels would fit, thinking about buying some around the 17-18" area, and dont really know what size etc is best. right now i just have the stockies 7 studders, but when rego is due i think ill be due for new tires, so instead of buying new tires for the stock wheels, ill buy a wheel and tire package.
cheers for the help guys (Y)

^ Haha. Most, if not all, eBay projectors use smaller bubs that you can find just about anywhere. I think they are H1/H2 type bulbs? Pice o cake to find and replace. Now if they were HID tht would be a bit more pricey when they burn out.
