broke a stud....

Default broke a stud....

i just broke one of the lug bolts that holds the rim on. any one know how to replace this????

go to your parts store and see if they sell a Irwin Tool, ask the salesperson and if they have them they will lead you right to them:

I had this same thing happen to me; go to your parts store, get a replacement stud. Then what you need to do is jack up the side of your car where the stud's missing, remove your wheel. Take a look at the back side of your brake assembly, there should be a view port of some kind torwards the bottom 6 oclock position. Align the broken stud with this hole, and take a hammer and punch it out. To install the new one, obviously just put the new one in through the same view port. It'll seat once you put your wheel back on and torque it down.

whatever you do dont bring it to the dealership, they will charge you a rediculous amount for this...............i have first hand experiance.
