help on ECU rest - 1/13/2007 2:12:46 AM    WoooSaaahh!!! Posts: 101 Joined: 11/26/2006 Status: offline Hey whats up Everyone... Happy New Year... happy to say that i Ordered a CAI and should have it soon... My question is what is the easy-ist way to reset the ECU on my car... if i have to take the battery off the I will do so... but if there is an easy-er way can someone inform me... step by step please... thankyou for the input guys Post #: 1

RE: help on ECU rest - 1/27/2007 1:43:24 PM    marbro Posts: 1478 Joined: 1/16/2006 Status: offline yeah,  remove the ground for the battery, leave it off for a minute or two,    technically only 30 seconds is enough, but its not like longer will hurt,     then after the x number of minute put the ground back on and let the car set for 5+ minutes so it can relearn everything and if that doesnt help with whatever you were trying to do        just be sure to rub your ear lobes and say woosaah  ^_^ (in reply to WoooSaaahh!!!)
