hello, i need help with trying to fix this also. when my g/f's car got broke into (other thread), they also screwed up the interior lock (for the handle), for the trunk. is there anyway that i can fix this? i have not really taken a look at it, but i opens in the locked and unlocked position. i'm more worried about fixing the ignition lock (other thread here), so we can get back to 2 running vehicles. thx, sos

Depending on what part you need here's a parts list and breakdown of the ignition...

theres a little cover on the trunk pop thing with a screw under it.
unscrew that and remove the trunk pop assembly. look bent/broken retaining clips. they most likely stuck a screwdriver in and twisted until the pieces of plastic that stop the exterior of the lock broke.

thx, i'll check it out later on. for now i took everything out of the trunk (that was worth anything). my next focus is putting in some type of kill switch (or something). - sos
