leaking oil from breather filter - 9/30/2008 8:04:11 AM    davisi   Posts: 7 Score: 0 Joined: 8/18/2008 Status: offline Told by Advance Auto how to put a breather filter on and now I am leaking oild out of my filter.  These were the instructions I got: 1. remove the PCV tube from the valve cover and replace it with a K&N breather filter. 2. Remove the Breather tube from Valve cover to intake manifold and plug the hole on the valve cover and plug the breather nipple on the intake manifold. I did these steps and now I am getting oil coming out of my breather filter.  What am I doing wrong? Post #: 1

That mod has no benefits, only problems.
