even if you can get the engine for $500, you still need ecu, tranny seeing you have a slushbox, and a slew of other parts, trust me i am doing the h22 swap right now, and i already have over $3,000k invest and the engines not even in yet. and a turboed h22 is just a bad idea on stock internals

for 500??does that include transmission, wire harness,ECU,computer and things like that....to be honest with you even a H22 as a stand alone is not worth 500 dollars...is this a legit source...and besides on Ebay you get an H22 with EVERYTHING(but its an automatic) for about 1200...and its a legit source...but 500 for an H22?????hmmmmm....sounds too suspicious if you ask me...what's the condition on it?hows the compression ratio and such...because even a H22 that is blown is worth just a tad more then that...of course buying a blown engine is like buying a used condom...

i would rather get it sleeved then those pistons man. And a 500 dollar H22A is not a good idea it doesn't have anything it needs i will bet on it. Or if it has everything nothing works correctly so there for you got to replace it all anyhow stay with the F22 get a turbo off an eclipse or get the Turbonetics kit it will work fine but search the forum this question has been asked alot since i have been here and that hasn't been too long.

i agree, nitrous is for suckers and is the lazy way to get power. nitrous runs out, while boost and n/a power goes forever. i believe you can get your f22 to 300hp naturally asperated, but you definately dont have the money for that. go turbo.

I think I might turbo the F22. OK buddy if you know what you need to know then delete your thread you started. If you knew all you needed to know why make a thread in the first place please do explain guy. Don't say you know everything because trust me you don't i can tell because you made this thread. Another reason i can tell is because you said quote:
H22: Swap + engine = possibly 500-900$ Turbo kit = 1500$ Rebuild engine sleeves and head = idk 100-300$ Whereas the F22: Turbo kit = 1500$ Already has good compression ratios and does not need rebuilt. I mean to me, it would be senseless to do the H22 one. But I see that my f22 Turbo would be the same as a stock H22. idk, its all so confusing.... So please guy don't say that you know all this SH*T when you don't you came here asking for advice we give it and you then say you know everything you need to know after we tell you please just be civil and be thankful for the advice we give.
