ok sorry but my oppinion nitrous is a waste, its dangerous to your motor, and most people just put it on there car with a purge kit, to purge like they do in the movie. its just to show off, and for those of you talking about "nos" that is another line out of the movie fast and the furious. "Nos" is a company name for a company that makes "Nitrous" kits thats it. Im not trying to sound like an ass but thats a pet peave of mine that just makes this sport look ricey

I have to agree with the majority of you guys in saying that "NOS" is really overrated. Except for the dumb people that just bolt it up and leave most of the stock internals in place. Some dude with a Cavy did that in my town and it was funny when the car blew up. So if ricers want to keep doing that I say go for it!

well I just dont personally like nitrous because how caustic it is to alluminum. no2 is really easy though. so you need air and fuel to make a explosion and at the right mixture. you cant add more fuel without getting more air, that why you port your heads and stuff because the system flows better so more gas can be thrown on the fire. well no2 is its own self contained explosion, it has the fuel the 'N' and the oxygen all in one molecule. actually after all is said and done, it actually leaves extra oxygen in the equation, this is how people talk about the danger of running lean with it. the "dry" system is really easy, you just tap in a spray nozzle, and spray a nitrous stream into the intake tract, this mixes with rest of the stuff in the cylinder, and make a more powerful explosion. thats it. now when you want to spray some serious nos, you have to account for the stoic ratio in the cylinder, run it too lean and your motors toast. so when the spray is on, you need something to increase the amount of actual gas thats being sprayed in. some kits add extra injectors or just bigger injectors, you can increase the fuel pressure or just fatten the "pulse" of the injector. lucky for us all, when you get a kit, everything you need to compensate is all there.. lightshow

if you are scared of running nitrous then get used to seeing tail lights alot so i wouldn't be scared of nitrous because i run a 105 shot though a stock motor (f22b2)

this is just a pet peeve of mine, but i think it should be called nitrous, not nos, nos sounds rice, and rice is bad, but im for and againest nitrous because it would be fun as hell if you had it hooked up to zip around in but if it isnt hooked up right, you blow your engine in like a millisecond

had a friend who ran no2 on his grandam with only a 60 shot, he has everything hooked up right. Didnt change the fact that he destroyed some of his intake valves. And running direct port wet on a stock engine without even upgrading the connecting rods or the pistons to forged will bring you some happy misfortune. Has nothing to do with being scared, it has to do with the eventuality of ruining your engine. Turbo > no2
