Hello all! I'm new to the forum and I did search but did'nt really find a clear answer. I would like to change the lights in my cluster and hvac controls, which leds did you guys use and did anyone have a problem with hot spots? I have a 2000 Honda Accord Lx, Thank You in advance!!

I use 3mm 5000 mcd super bright, and then I sand (shave) the end of the led it creates a even light. I dont have any shaved in the pics but it shows how bad the hotspots are unless shaved.

Oh I see what you mean. Did you have to solder those? If so I guess I wont be able to do it... What about led bulb?

all the gauge leds you can buy already installed in holders if you look aroung the only ones that have to be soldered are the hvac lights above the buttons

Thank you for the info! When I get off work I'll make a proper intro. It looks the lights for the gauges is 4 size 194 and 1 size 74?
