Hey guys, i have a 2000 Accord EX. I was changing the passenger-side headlight and i accidentally dropped the old bulb into the air filter intake thing*. Any suggestions on how to get it out/if it'll be catastrophic if i leave it in there? * i am pretty much car illiterate, learning my way as i go, what i mean by "air filter intake thing" is on the 4 cyl. model, on the passenger side there is a U shaped passage that starts outside behind the headlights, goes down and then up into the air filter and then from the filter into the engine. my old bulb right now is at the bottom of the 'U'. ;\ much thanks guys :)

It fell into the resonator (quiets the intake air). You might be able to pull off some of the plastic parts and get it out. If not the resonator can be tricky to get out and you have to take off the bumper and unmount it and then take the resonator out. I'm not sure if you can take the resonator apart to fish the bulb out or whatever, but if the bulbs doesn't come out you shouldn't have any problem just leaving the resoantor out and putting the bumper back on.

I would use a shop vac, open hose end to "fish" for the lost bulb. Vac should pick up the bulb w/ enough fishing. good luck
