piston slap - 3/22/2008 5:01:41 PM    frankryan   Posts: 2 Joined: 3/22/2008 Status: offline I have a 2000 2.0 accord that has a piston slap. The piston slap when cold is something wicked ! I even had a honda mechanical rep'take it for a week after it was a year old ,and he told me it was a problem with the VTEC system . When the honda tech' took it for a week and then fobbed me off with a VTEC excuse and took me for a ride in the accord demonstration car that did the same. I thought it was what they all did! Now its really bad 120,000 miles and is perfect apart from this long running problem its going to have to be sorted, do you have any advise Mr Rocket racer! (in reply to HondaRacer4Vtec) Post #: 3
