LOL .... yup ... sarcasm. I've read all about Frankenstein Honda engines. I wish Yotas were as versitile. I'm likely going to have to design and custom fab a new intake manifold because I don't like the stock plastic clamshell that comes on the tc.

BCK .... according to Wiki, HPJ is right ..... I've never looked under the hood of a '96, so I can't say for sure ..... Wiki also says that the Accord had it. That engine would be sweet if it were actually ever made in the factory!

you're reading my comment wrong... What i'm saying is there are two TL's in 96... the 2.5L was a G series, and the 3.2L was a J series... The J series that was in the 96 TL 3.2L, is the same J series that was used for the 98-02 accords V6 models... The G series used in the 96 Tl 2.5L,was the same used in the 92 vigor...

I also don't recall reading anything ever saying that any accord has ever had a 5 cylinder motor. The '92 only had the F22 and the '96 had the F22 or C27. I have seen 2.5TL's before and it looks like that is the 5 cylinder G25 engine. The Vigor did have that motor and since the Vigor was a rebadged Accord, it wouldn't surprise me to find some european Accords with that engine in them, but not USDM ones.
