valve cover gasket - 4/6/2008 2:05:03 PM    stringsmjm   Posts: 14 Joined: 3/14/2008 Status: offline Im going to replace my valve cover gasket and need to know where to apply the RVT silicone? does it go on the cover itself and on the engine like both sides of the gasket? a beed around the head and around the valve cover? i have the rubber gasket so i plan on using the silicone to help it out _____________________________ 07 Corolla S - the wifes 95 Altima SE 5 speed - mine 89 Accord LX - the back up car Post #: 1

Use Permatex non hardening gasket sealer (aka hondabond) on the 90 degree corners of the gasket at the front and rear beraring caps on the head side of the gasket.
